CommonSense: A Handbook and Guide for Writers

$0.00
sold out

by Lennis Polnac, Lyman Grant, Thomas Cameron. 447 pages. McGraw Hill. 2003. I need to be very honest. Most of the work on this book was completed by Lennis Polnac. Yes, it was a collaborative effort, and Tom and I wrote several sections in the book, but Lennis carried the water here and did the really hard work. That said, this is a very complete handbook on writing from the nitty-gritty of punctuation and mechanics to paragraph and essay writing to research conventions. The book went through several editions, but now is Out of Print.
